The example of an airplane getting off course due to a gust of wind while flying above a landscape for scan acquisition is central to this learning unit. The pupils are to correct the distorted scan via a function. In addition to an understanding of the mathematical contents, the pupils will gain relevant knowledge of remote sensing.
